About Journal of Clinical Microbiology Reports

Microbiology is the study of unicellular organisms and their colonies, their cellular and genetic properties and ecological interactions with surrounding environment and other living beings. It includes microbial genetics, virology, pathogenic microbiology, environmental biology, medical microbiology, and mycology. Clinical Microbiology has immense significance in identification of microbes that are pathogenic in nature and finding most appropriate treatment strategy. Clinical microbiology focuses on all aspects of patient infections from testing samples to identifying bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic agents that are contributing to the infectious process, to determining the susceptibility of microorganisms to various antimicrobial agents, and reporting the results to healthcare providers.
